During the 15th Regular Session of the Municipal Chamber of Nova Alvorada do Sul, held on May 12, 2026, Councilwoman Andrea Fim presented important requests aimed at strengthening preventive public safety and oversight of health resources allocated to the municipality.

Through Request No. 061/2026, she sought information regarding the progress of establishing and structuring the Municipal Civil Defense, as well as measures being taken for prevention and emergency response in cases of climatic emergencies. This initiative aims to monitor actions developed by the Executive Branch in terms of planning and rapid response to natural disasters and climate events.

In her justification, Andrea highlighted the importance of an organized and structured Civil Defense for both preventive and emergency action. She emphasized that creating and strengthening this organization is crucial for ensuring greater security, prevention, organization, and support for the population during risky situations.

During the session, she also submitted Request No. 062/2026, requesting detailed information from the Municipal Health Secretary about the progress of processes related to health resources in the municipality, including a procurement process valued at R$500,000 and an additional allocation of R$361,974. The goal is to ensure transparency, oversight, and monitoring of public health actions, guaranteeing that investments from Congressman Geraldo Resende are effectively used for the benefit of the population.
